✍️ In my view, I think Mikel Arteta is trying to evolve the Arsenal team in a very different way. The way Arteta structures his team is focused on mass attacking and mass defending; he wants goals to come from every area of the team, even with a focal prolific striker.
He does not want the team to rely solely on the striker alone. Viktor Gyökeres is a different kind of striker compared to Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, whom he uses as a false 9.
Arteta wants to evolve his philosophy to achieve a run of successful ways to win major trophies this season and make his team more competitive every season, starting from this one.
Lastly… Viktor Gyökeres will be used by Arteta in a different way compared to how Pep Guardiola is using Haaland.
